About The Gymnastics Spot
  • The Gymnastics Spot was born August 28th 1978 in what is now Dance Center North Libertyville. The next year we moved to Lincoln School. Seventeen years ago MK Industries’ owner and Spot parent decided to build at our former Shaddle Ave. location. We asked if they would add on to their building.  They agreed, and we found a more suitable home.  On November 19, we moved into a state of the art 25,000 square foot facility on Tower Road in Mundelein.

  • We strive to instill in all our athletes our philosophy:

“We use gymnastics as a tool to teach positive life values in a nurturing environment. Gymnastics teaches goal setting, hard work, self discipline, and control in a fun and exciting fashion throughout our entire program, from Preschool to the Competitive Team.”
